Bird Photography-Viera Wetlands

Adventure Photography and Photowalks spent the morning at Viera Wetlands in Viera, FL. There are few places that have a higher number of species readily accessible to the camera than Viera Wetlands. This is a great place for both the beginner and expert nature photographer to get excellent images of many species of birds, mammals, and reptiles. An early start is needed in order to catch the best light. The site has multiple wetland impoundments and associated upland areas.  We walked the area as doing so gave us the best opportunities to capture nice images. The terrain is flat and firm levee roads, so the walking is very easy.

Rock City Gardens Photo Shoot

Adventure Photography and Photo Walks Photography Group based out of Vero Beach, Florida visited ROCK CITY GARDENS in Wabasso, Florida. The garden center is located just north of Vero Beach and South of Sebastian.  We had a great time photographing all of the beautiful foliage in the nursery.

Since 1983, Rock City Gardens has been owned and operated by Tom and Rhonda Lowe. Their natural talent for creating and maintaining seven acres of beautiful tropical gardens is evidence of their passion for the retail nursery business, including the beautiful landscaping their talented team of horticulture experts have created and maintained for so many local clients over the years.

Old Florida - "Peterson's Groves and Nursery"

Peterson's Groves is not only a farm stand selling fresh local produce, but it also has an eclectic mix of antiques. Groves circa 1913 or 1923 and Mr. Peterson was born there in 1939 and his brother in 1936. It is a wonderful place right in our backyard to explore.
