Heathcote Botanical Gardens

Heathcote Botanical Gardens consists of an assortment of specialty gardens including a Japanese Garden, Reflection Garden, Herb Garden, Rainforest Display, Native Plants Garden and a Palm & Cycad Walk. These areas convey an atmosphere of individual garden rooms. Through this type of garden design, you will sense the intimacy of this unique botanical garden. Gracing the areas in between these specialty gardens are borders of flowering shrubs, bulbs, trees, vines and other assorted herbaceous plants. Niches found throughout the garden provide varied microclimates, which allows the use of a wide variety of plants ranging from those found in Mediterranean climates to the Tropics.

Veterans Day Remember Our Heros

Instead of an Adventure Photography Photowalk, this was more of a photographic challenge to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces. We took a photo of what symbolizes Veterans Day to us. This allowed all the members to participate wherever they may be! Some went to a ceremony, parade, or Navy Seal Museum to find inspiration.

Tuesday

4th Annual Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk TWO!

This will be a bit different we had a “FASHION PHOTO WALK” with a group of models to work with us to be featured in these photographs posing in various outfits around all the historic buildings. With all the “Model Photographer Photo Groups” in the area I think it will be fun to have both the photographer and model featured in the photographs from this walk. You can either participate in this “FASHION PHOTO WALK” or go off and shoot just the historic architecture and other various sites in the vicinity. We started at the gallery in the Downtown Historic District. The address is “Gallery of Hope.org” 2036 14th Ave. STE 101 Vero Beach, FL 32960.

"Good location, excellent to have three models volunteer their time, extremely helpful to have experienced photographers who knew how to work with the models, good flow from one model to the next...and one setting to the next. Great two hours of picture taking." -Roger T. Sobkowiak

Classic Car Cruise In At Sonic Drive In

Approximately 50-80 classic cars will park on the south side of the facility and the newer cars on the north side along with regular customers. Sonic servers were dressed in period poodle skirt clothing with their roller skates which made for great photo ops. To avoid bystanders in our photos, we zoomed in on the details that made these cars classics!
