Capturing Island Images Bahamas Tour

We set sail from Port Canaveral, Florida, for three fun filled days at sea. First stop Nassau, Bahamas where we photographed the Bahamian Culture and Commerce around the famous straw market. Later in the evening we immersed ourselves in night photography around the beautiful Atlantis Resort. The next day we focused on stock photography in the tropical setting at Royal Caribbean’s private beach on Coco Cay! There we photographed typical Beach/Resort stock photographs with a model and still life objects. Later in the afternoon we photographed Beverage stock photographs back aboard the ship. We had a wonderful time exploring what the Bahamas had to offer and brought home some fantastic shots!

The Florida Fly Wheelers Antique Engine Club is a non-profit organization, founded in 1972, to promote interest in restoring, preserving and exhibiting antique internal combustion engines, steam engines, antique tractors and autos and other labor saving devices from the by-gone years. Fly Wheeler Park has now grown to almost 240 acres and includes a tractor pull track, club and member buildings which house displays, collections and many large engines, and a membership which is over 1,500. The Florida Fly Wheelers are able to educate its members and the general public of the historical, technical, and social contributions and impact of these items of the past. Their main goal is to preserve a part of our heritage for all generations and historians to enjoy.

Thursday

Coral Cove at Sunrise

The Tide was low when the sun came up so there was a good amount of rock exposed. A beautiful day was presented for us and there were lots of chances to get the many colors from the palette of the sky! Well worth the drive and early rise. I keep thinking about what I miss sleeping through the sunrise.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow.....Fireworks! The group was able to photograph a rare event for Floridians, snow! The excited expressions of children tubing down icy hills and playing in the snow made for great photography. Then at night, we got to capture fireworks reflecting in the lakes around the festival.
